Tasks:
Your tasks and responsibilities will mainly include serving as a senior project manager responsible for designing and preparing plans and specifications, estimates for design of multiple bridge types, conducting analyses, site surveys, doing calculations, as well as inspecting the work site.

Perform technically challenging bridge/structural engineering designs as an integral part of a team;

Manage and mentor a project team of highly capable engineers and plan production staff to successfully deliver projects;

Participate in business development activities as required;

Establish and maintain good working relationships and communication with peers, clients, contractor-partners, and prime/sub-consultant team members.
Skills:
-
Proficient in all key bridge design software/technologies/codes;
-
Excellent bridge design technical skills;
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both official languages ( French and English) an asset;

Excellent knowledge on MTO and MTQ bridge related requirements an asset;

Team leading personality with strong people skills;
-
Strong interest for engineering challenges;

Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment;

Excellent attention to detail and quality design outputs.
Professional experience and development:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, specialization in Structural Engineering or equivalent;
-
5- 10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering (bridges, viaducts, culverts, etc);
-
Experience in other structural engineering projects (buildings, dams, municipal infrastructure) an asset;
-
Member of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) or eligible and/or Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
