Our Client, a leader in the medical inovation community, is looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager to join their team.


Reporting to the VP, Controller, the Manager, Corporate Accounting will be responsible for overseeing domestic and international accounting functions.  This will include managing the month-end close process, tracking stock-based compensation transactions, revenue recognition, and managing Stereotaxis’ international entity.  Additionally, this person will be responsible for reporting preliminary and final financial results to management.  Finally, this person will perform technical accounting research and financial analysis as necessary.



  • Establish and maintain systems, processes and timelines to ensure the accurate and timely collection of financial data and dissemination of financial information.
  • Continuously evaluate and update current accounting procedures and internal controls for adherence to regulations and best practices.  Proactively identify and correct any issues presenting control risks to the company.
  • Perform month-end closing functions, including reviewing certain journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Direct accumulation of financial data necessary to provide an accurate and timely reporting of financial results to management and to comply with external reporting requirements.
  • Manage staff of 5, responsible for accounting operations including general ledger reporting, product costing, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, fixed assets, sales and use tax reporting, and special project analysis.
  • Generate and analyze monthly financial reports including trend analyses and comparisons to budget and forecast.  Prepare monthly financial commentary for executive management
  • Review and drive improvements in cash management process, including the effective collection of receivables and payment of financial obligations in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Manage working capital through identification and implementation of cost reduction and process improvement activities throughout the organization. 
  • Review proposed purchases and assist departmental leaders with the budget management process by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances and proposing corrective actions.
  • Prepare analyses for contract negotiations and product investment decisions; develop pricing and budget models and recommend benchmarks for measuring the company’s financial and operating performance.
  • Evaluate multiple-element transactions to determine proper revenue recognition
  • Track equity transactions including grants, exercises, and forfeitures, and recording compensation expense
  • Oversee the accounting for the Company’s international entity
  • Remain current on accounting policy issues and SEC compliance issues through literature and webinar participation.
  • Perform technical accounting research
  • Build working relationships with various levels of financial and operational management.
  • Act as a liaison with internal and external auditors
  • Assist in the preparation and review of 10-Q’s and 10-K’s




  • Bachelors Degree highly preferred.  Advanced degree preferred. 
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • At least 2-5 years managing others in a professional setting preferred. 
  • At least 5-8 years of accounting experience highly preferred. 




  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • Ability to take complex analyses and provide insightful reports on findings to management.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team-setting. 
  • Expert with Microsoft Office and working knowledge of accounting software highly preferred. 
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills highly preferred.
