Clinical Informatics Specialist
The Quality Division for the Wayne State University Physician Group is currently seeking an experienced candidate to fill a Clinical Informatics Specialist position.
This position is responsible for validating requested reports and working with various Information Systems and will ensure validity and quality of clinical documentation, improve accessibility and retrieval of clinical information for healthcare providers.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience. Certification in clinical informatics preferred. A license as a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Degree is preferred. Have a minimum of 3 years in healthcare informatics and experience with EHR / clinical decision support tools. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with others are a must.
