LEAD DEVELOPER
SUMMARY
Lead Developer is a senior technical lead position that provides work leadership to IT development staff. The holder of the role performs complex analysis, design, programming, and unit testing of software applications, provides contribution to process development and the architect of the enterprise airline application.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the development of high quality, mission-critical airline applications

As an operational leader, responsible for the enforcement of the development process
-
Owner of the development procedures, coding standards
-
Analysis, development and documentation of technical requirements
-
Estimate the development resource requirements based on the approved technical design
-
Leading internal and outsourced resources (5-8 developers), including coaching, mentoring, knowledge sharing
-
Daily review and report on development items, keeping track of team assignments
-
Ensures the code quality, organizes design review, code review, development peer-testing, and designing unit- and automated functional tests
-
Ensures the delivered code complies with PCI/DSS requirements
-
Contributor for the release procedure, supplier of the new release builds
-
Continuous improvement of team efficiency implementing by establishing best-practices
-
Liaising with cross-functional business stakeholders
-
Manage escalations on development related items in case resource conflict occurs
-
Respond to software related incidents in a rapid manner, debugging, proposing bugfixes, workarounds
-
Involvement in the incident resolution and problem management for a 24/7 production environment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Fluent English

College or University degree
-
Minimum 6 years professional software development experience
-
Minimum 4 years of professional experience and deep knowledge in Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio environments
-
MS-SQL Expert: strong design and creation of relational database schemas and SQL queries, stored procedures, minimum 3 years
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in e-commerce web site development (desktop, mobile optimized)
-
Experience development and support 24/7 business critical IT systems
-
Solid understanding of latest web technologies, n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic, Data Access Layer), OOP, SOA concepts, XML
-
People management skills ability to manage software development team to deliver project deliverables Experience with Business Intelligence solutions
-
Architect role: ability to develop technical documentation for software solutions, develop technical designs , user procedures
-
Experience in Software Development Methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
-
Experience with JavaScript (JQuery, Ajax)
-
Experience in site build, HTML/CSS
-
Ability to test, and troubleshoot complex applications software
-
Ability to understand business requirements
-
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts, both verbally and in writing
-
Work experience in a multinational, cross-functional environment
-
Secure coding experience/knowledge
