Product Manager (Billing & CRM)

Description

As a Product Manager in Redknee, you have the end to end responsibility throughout the product cycle for one or more Redknee products. You will be part of the driving force behind the products which support the next generation network to Redknee Unified Rating and Charging System (URCS) which is one of the critical portion of our Turnkey Converged Billing solution. Typical responsibilities include ensuring/ maintaining the business and technical health of the product. This includes on-going technology and business assessment within the context of the ultra-competitive wireless industry. In addition, you will be assisting in producing business cases to justify investment and supporting sales and marketing collateral.
You are comfortable and confident in adopting a rapid, challenging yet rewarding environment and you are passionate in mobile communication evolution and possess a blend of visionary instinct.

Requirements

  • Responsible for building and driving brand strategy inline with the overall strategy of Turnkey Converged Billing
  • Competitive analysis of the market, feature content and product portfolio
  • Market Research to quantify market and consumer trends and potential in mobile usage
  • Articulate innovative ideas and serve as owner of Product Requirement Documents and Roadmaps
  • Motivation to bring innovation, initiative, and creative energy to the role
  • Perform business risk analysis based on market research, business case and technical evaluation
  • Generate product usage model and pricing used in Pricing Guide
  • Review of Design documents produced by R&D to ensure correlation with the Product Requirements Document as well as consistency with the Product Roadmap.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, customer meetings and conferences
  • Point of escalation for product matters

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, or similar roles
  • Knowledge of Real-time rating, charging products and market space
  • Understanding of Business Plan requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of the telecom technology such as eTOM, 3GPP, 3GPP2, and OMA
  • Proven track record of product championship
  • The ability to travel globally.

Education and qualifications

  • A University degree in engineering and/or computer science
  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or finance would be an asset
