The purpose of FX & CFD Specialist is to provide high quality one-stop customer service by fostering, maintaining and supporting relationships with Questrade’s clients in online derivatives trading.
What’s it like working as a FX & CFD Specialist at Questrade?
The FX & CFD Specialist seeks opportunities to strengthen client relationships through various communication channels. They are responsible for converting incoming leads into new accounts, assisting with account opening and funding procedures, responding to enquiries from existing and potential clients, and monitoring these communication channels for client notice requests (like margin calls). The Specialist will also work closely with the Supervisor and Director to help prepare analysis, reports and presentation required in the planning and execution of strategic initiatives within the team.

You will be a subject matter expert in FX & CFD products and services and assist with demo account registration and live account opening and follow-ups. You will contact new leads as assigned and monitor phones, email and LiveChat for incoming client enquiries. You will respond and investigate these enquiries promptly and efficiently using related forex back office software. You will report client complaints, escalate unresolved issues, and liaise with teammates to solve complex issues in a timely manner. You will also accept trade orders as required and forward them to the trade desk for execution. You will work with other teams and departments, including reporting and analysis requests, as well as with the marketing team to provide client resources, including PowerPoint presentations, webinars and video tutorials. You will stay alert to changes in regulatory developments, industry best practices and competitors’ products and services. You will be a valuable member of the team by participating in regular team meetings. You will go beyond the hi-fives and demonstrate your team spirit by backing up your team members when required.

You have solid knowledge of the Foreign Exchange market gained through applicable education and some related work experience. You possess experience in a client services position, maybe even in a call centre environment, and have excellent communication and customer service skills, in both English and French, to deal with a high level of client interaction. This experience coupled with your completed CSI courses (CSI, CPH, DFC, and FLC) make you the perfect candidate for this role! You are passionate about the financial services industry and strive for continuous learning to further advance your knowledge.
