Assistant Scouts must be motivated by working in sports and have a desire to use analytical and critical thinking skills for the NCSA Scouting Department. The Assistant Scout will assist our Scouts in contacting prospects via phone. They will work directly with the Scouting Department. Assistant Scouts are expected to work weekend hours. This position is perfect for those who are considering pursuing a career in sales and sports.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Responsible for contacting interested parents of potential student-athletes via phone calls
  • Responsible for live transferring as many qualified families to our scouting team on a daily basis
  • Responsible for documenting outcomes of conversations
  • Responsible for setting meetings/rescheduling meetings
  • Meet and/or exceed target deadlines and specific trainings to progress toward a full-time Scout position


  • Recent college graduates
  • Strong phone demeanor
  • Ability to multi-task and have strong communication skills
  • Must be a proven sports enthusiast
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule that include evening hours and weekends
