Description

  • Huawei Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Supplier Quality Management

    Enforces, manages and measures supplier quality/risk/improvement process, including failure/ quality tracking to ensure material quality target achievement and internal customer satisfaction. According to supplier quality management strategy of SQM, commodity strategy and product requirement, develop QSA, QPA and manages supplier CSR.

    Key Responsibilities:  

     This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

    • Identify risky suppliers according to quality data from IQC, production and field service report. Develop an improvement plan and supplier quality management activities such as QSA, QPA and risk management to reduce the impact on production and ensure supply continuity.
    • Evaluate supplier quality performance. Identify the material quality bottle neck. Solve quality issue timely and accurately. (Material’s quality control and technical support).
    • Supplier and material process qualification, including supplier QSA, QPA, environment, CSR audit and etc.
    • Supplier quality management, which includes supplier visit, audit, process monitoring, quality improvement, improvement plan follow up, getting PONC from supplier, supplier quality performance evaluation.
    • Trouble shooting, which includes analyzing serious quality issue with relative dept., PCN evaluation (only for customized SQM), follow up FA.
    • Maintain and enforce material received match the BOM required. Be responsible for material quality.

    Education and Experience:

    • 5 years+ of experience in quality and reliability management, supplier management.
    • Experience in failure analysis, driving corrective action and developing quality plans.
    • Project management experience. 
    • Strong written/verbal communication skills.
    • Basic knowledge of Telecom products, CSR, Environment and information security.
    • BSME, MSME or MBA is a plus.
