974 - Early Childcare Substitute Teachers

We are currently recruiting for Childcare Teachers throughout several counties in Georgia. We have opportunities for real time jobs and daily assignments.

Teachers will be responsible for working in day care centers helping children ages 0-12 years of age in their educational and personal growth needs. Under a director's supervision, they provide all the necessary primary care for infants and independent and group activities for toddlers and older children. Through games and exercises, they help children develop self-esteem, curiosity, imagination, physical skills, and speech. Teachers also oversee the children's health and nutrition, sometimes having the children participate in the preparation of breakfast and lunch.

Will also be responsible for supporting children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts.
Duties include but not limited to:

● Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games.
● Instruct children in health and personal habits such as eating, resting, and toilet habits.
● Assist in preparing food for children and serve meals and refreshments to children and regulate
rest period.
● Read to children, and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs.
● Change diapers
● Observe and monitor children's play activities.
● Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas.
● Cleaning designated areas
● Sanitize toys and play equipment.

Minimum requirements:
-1 year proven experience in the childcare industry
-CDA, TCC, Diploma in Early childhood Education, Degree in ECCE or Elementary Education
- Enrolled in an Early Childhood Education program (Must provide proof) preferably enrolled online/ night classes.
-Clean Criminal background
-Reliable transportation
-Must be willing to attend childcare training
- Professionalism & Passion for working with Young Children

Compensation

$8.00/ 8.50 per hour
