Description

 
The Regional Vice President of Sales will be responsible for managing a group of sales staff in offices throughout the East and Mid-West and report directly to the President of North America. This position can be based in the Chicago or New York office.

 Responsibilities include:

  •  Provide leadership and clear direction to team, giving guidance in meeting revenue, partnering with clients, presentation and contract negotiations
  • Develop, retain and motivate existing team while recruiting for new members. Continually raising the bar for talent
  • Develop and execute strategy to ensure growth and achievement of revenue objectives
  • Accountable for delivering the overall sales revenue targets for the region
  • Offer clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing the pipeline of opportunities and weekly sales forecasts
  • Drive the highest levels of client service by working with team to improvement relationships and process
  • Drive overall operational efficiency across sales and contract management
  • Build and maintain senior level relationships with clients including identifying new business opportunities
  • Identify, monitor and provide timely and accurate forecasts of sales opportunities and pipelines 
  • Research, monitor and communicate status of competitive market landscape
  • Collaborate with internal team to product improvement, transfer knowledge, improving process/ client relationship
  • Actively participate on the executive team, embracing company culture, mission, and strategy
 

Requirements:

 
  • Minimum of 15 plus years' with management experience at a leading media company including online
  • Proven and consistent track record of executing against an aggressive growth strategy and delivering sales revenue growth rates in excess of company expectations while working independently
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem solving/decision making skills
  • Intelligent, motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
  • Ability to travel to attend industry conferences, meet with clients and employees
  • Bachelor’s degree minimum
