The IT Audit Specialist will assist financial managers in their decision-making processes by providing relevant and reliable financial information to help our government customer meet the requirements of the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR). Perform field work and supervises contractor and/or staff personnel. Provide guidance and direction for specific sub-tasks and participate in efforts of contractor staff in in performance of tasks.
Requirements for the position:
- Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
12-18 months experience in IT Systems auditing. Auditing experience includes, but is not limited to, one or more of the following: FISCAM, FISMA, OMB A123, or PRISM.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management related discipline.
- Four (4) years of accounting or financial experience to include supervision and directing efforts of staff.
- A minimum of 20 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits each fiscal year; 120 CPE credits over a three-year rolling period.
- Familiarity with DoD and Air Force financial management policies and procedures.
- Experience with IT Audits or IT compliance testing.
- GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR experience.
