Assistant Site Supervisor (JV Projects)

The Assistant Site Supervisor assists the Site Supervisor in planning and direction of the construction activities and promotes and enforces Health & Safety.  Specific accountabilities include:

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and Kenaidan Contracting Ltd. Health and Safety policies and procedures in daily operations;
• Ensure the quality of all work completed, including monitoring subcontractors for quality of materials and workmanship, and ensuring quality of concrete and formwork;
• Coordinate workforce and trade contractors on site;
• Ensure quality control and conformance with specifications;
• Measure and record quantities;
• Perform site layout and ensure accuracy;
• Maintain construction drawing log and as built drawings;
• Co-ordinate equipment, material and manpower to achieve schedule requirements.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5-10 years of direct experience as an Assistant Site Supervisor working on large commercial design build projects with a strong technical knowledge of construction equipment and practices with strong communication and interpersonal skills.    Experience with P3 or LEED Projects would be an asset.
