We are looking for a Support Services Manager for our Calgary Branch. This position will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Support Services Departments; this includes the Patrol, Maintenance and Meter departments. This position will report directly to the Assistant General Manager of the branch.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for the overall supervision and direction of staff within the Support Services department including on-going people development & training and performance management
  • Recruiting, selecting and training new staff for daily operation;
  • Prepare monthly schedule for all staff locations;
  • Monitor daily operation of all attendant locations;
  • Prepare and submit payroll and any related paperwork required;
  • Organize, coordinate and monitor special events operation;
  • Procure materials/supplies necessary for maintaining optimal job performance levels;
  • Communicate pertinent company policies and procedures to maximize employee performance;
  • Provide effective leadership and communication to all members of the Support Services team;
  • Maintain and develop vendor relationships;
  • Prepare budget plans and monitor cost controls;
  • Manager the field cash collection process.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 

You’ll be a great fit as a Support Services Manager if you have:

 

  • 2 to 3 years of administration and supervisory experience, preferably in parking, retail, hospitality or other related operations;
  • Post-secondary education such as a degree/diploma in Business Administration is an asset;
  • Exceptional organizational skills;
  • Candidate shows initiative and demonstrates a “Can Do” attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong PC skills with Microsoft based applications.
