Sr. Engineer
Position Description: Convergence Technology Consulting is looking for a Senior Engineer that has experience in one or all of the following Infrastructure Technologies: Microsoft (Exchange and Active Directory), Citrix, VMware, and Enterprise Storage. This position will encompass working individually or part of a team to complete complex installations, upgrades and migrations of servers in the technologies listed above.
Responsibilities: •Perform network installation, upgrade and migration projects with Microsoft, Citrix, and VMware technologies. •Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution. •Write documentation •Extensive experience with installation and support of all Microsoft operating systems. •Experience implementing and supporting LAN and WAN environments. •Experience with HP or Dell (or equivalent high-end) servers •Basic experience implementing and supporting SAN devices •Experience implementing and supporting clustered operating systems and storage devices •Knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as: Exchange, SQL Server, Remote Access Server and Terminal Services. •Advanced knowledge of MS Active Directory. •Experienced in the installation and support of server virtualization software (VMware, Citrix) •Experienced in Active Directory and Exchange migrations and knowledge of related tools a plus.
