Description

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for all switchboard functions of receiving incoming calls, paging, placement of outgoing calls and monitoring various alarm systems. This position is also responsible for all admitting functions including accumulating and entering all necessary demographic and billing information in the computer system with timeliness and accuracy.  Also acts in the capacity of a cashier.  This position requires exceptional customer service skills in addition to proficiency in PBX functions and admitting functions.  Must have the ability to work with minimum supervision.

 Qualifications/Specifications:

* Education: High School graduate or equivalent required.

* Licensure/Certification: None required.

* Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in healthcare setting preferred.
