Position Overview

This position is part of Zones Professional Services team to support Zones’ business foundation as a single-source provider to our clients’ network infrastructure, unified communications, contact center, unified communication application development, security, storage, and wireless solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation and operational support of Microsoft Exchange systems, proactive maintenance and monitoring of Exchange and related systems
• Support Exchange production server build and configurations including -Disk subsystem configuration and performance including SAN architecture -Exchange backup configuration and monitoring
• Building Exchange server clusters in production environment
• Exchange database maintenance
• Support of all Exchange MAPI clients and ability to troubleshoot client performance and connectivity issue at the LAN and Network levels
• Support and troubleshoot mail routing and transport
• Support and planning of migrations from prior versions of Exchange or other platforms to current version of Exchange i.e. 2010
• Integration of Microsoft Lync into Exchange environments
• Implementation and configuration of SMTP Gateways, Anti-virus, and Anti-spam tools in an enterprise environment
• Implementation and support of Exchange integrated Anti-virus
• Provide services to multiple customer bases

We are seeking candidates with the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent years of experience is acceptable.
• Microsoft certifications (MCSE or MCITP) Preferred, HP ASE, VMware VCP, Microsoft Lync, Microsoft Virtualization, and VCDX3/VDX4 suggested.
• Must have skills of a technical lead with excellent communication and analytical skills
• 5 + years of experience supporting Microsoft Exchange
• Strong analytical skills - ability to diagnose the interoperability of a diverse set of technologies such as Exchange, Active Directory, Lync, VoIP, SQL and A/V, and VMWare
• Must be very close to the technology - design, configure, and support messaging and communication products
• Strong Infrastructure Management background - capacity planning, performance management, and security
• Must have strong system analysis, architecture, design, and administration skills
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills including demonstrated experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective
• Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet clients' needs, with occasional overnight travel
• Understanding of the industry, market, customers, competitors, suppliers, partners and capabilities of the business.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and management.
• Professional, business-focused attitude and courteous manner towards clients, partners, and peers
• Ability to travel as needed
