Title of Position:   Leasing Consultant (Bilingual)


Job Details/Description:   The Leasing Consultant is responsible for renting apartments, renewing leases, and for the effective fulfillment of all related administrative functions and for effectively serving our customers, residents and clients.  The purpose of this position is to help achieve the objective of maintaining budgeted occupancy at all times.

Demonstrates product knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the property, its residents and the geographic area.

Answers incoming telephone calls as well as frequently check site email and follow up with all potential leads in a timely manner.

Maintains waiting lists.

Reviews applications for housing and runs background checks.

Prepares leases for signature.

Conducts applicant interviews, apartment showings and lease signings.

Obtains income and asset documentation to verify program qualification.

Other responsibilities as directed by supervisor or senior management.

Qualifications and/or Experience:   

Minimum two years’ experience in leasing, marketing or sales

Familiarity with Rent Stabilization is preferred

Experience with Tenant-Based Section 8 through NYCHA/HPD/HCR and project-based Section 8 is preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software

Yardi Voyager experience a plus

Excellent customer service with a sales-driven attitude


Must speak one of the following languages (Mandarin, Cantonese & Korean)


Schedule:   Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
