The World Economic Forum’s Agriculture, Food and Beverage Industry Partnership Programme, led by chief executive officers from across the consumables value chain, offers industry leaders the opportunity to engage with a community of peers to identify and address critical industry issues, consistent with the Forum’s mission of improving the state of the world.

As Senior Community Manager reporting to the Head of Industry, you will manage and grow the Forum’s community of Partners in the Agriculture, Food and Beverage sector.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of the industry programme, serving as an interface with industry contacts, including senior executives, experts and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of a compelling value proposition for Partner companies, increasing engagement and deepening commitment
  • Work with partners and subject experts to identify cutting-edge industry issues and translate these and other priorities into work streams and projects
  • Monitor and summarize industry issues, develop communication and marketing materials
  • Represent the industry perspective to deliver value across a portfolio of projects and initiatives for the community, with a particular focus on sustainability (e.g. sustainable consumption, water security, food security) and health and wellness

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s degree (MBA preferred) with a minimum of five years professional experience in the global fast-moving consumer packaged goods or agribusiness industry
  • Strong management skills and the ability to work with and deliver presentations to leaders at the C-suite level and multistakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, business success and an interest in global affairs
  • Possess a broad intellectual background
  • Highly service-oriented and a flexible team player
  • Fluent in English and at least one other language
