Kennedy/Jenks Consultants San Diego office is looking for an experienced Operations Manager/Office Manager. This opening affords highly motivated self-starters a career opportunity to join an exciting firm that will provide significant growth and advancement opportunities.
The main objectives of this position are two-fold: first to lead office operations including staff hiring and development, servicing clients, and overseeing project delivery. Second, you will serve as a client service manager for local area clients. In this role you will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for the water environment industry with support from business development and technical resources throughout Southern California. You will be responsible for day-to-day business/project operations and will assure adherence to Kennedy/Jenks' policies and procedures. This position reports directly to the Southern California Regional Manager and also works collaborative with other offices within the firm and with the Business Development sector leaders.
Must have established contacts with San Diego area water and wastewater sector clients. Must have demonstrated success in management of consulting engineering operations and client relationships. Minimum 15 years experience. BS in Engineering and PE License required. Some travel involved.
