Job Description

 

Financial analysts are instrumental members of deal teams, which typically comprise at least one managing director, vice president, associate, and financial analyst. You will be actively involved in transaction-oriented work for our clients. In addition, you will analyze financial statements, general economic conditions, industry-specific conditions and developments, acquisitions, divestitures, and various investment attributes of publicly traded and private securities.

 

Qualifications

 

A B.A. or B.S. is required. Preferred majors include finance, accounting, business, or applied economics. Coursework in accounting and finance is required. The ideal candidate possesses a fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications; strong analytical abilities; strong financial and computer skills; and a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff. Strong Excel, modeling, and presentation-building skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. One year of investment banking, leveraged finance, accounting, or relevant experience is preferred. No Class of 2013 graduates, please.
