Project Architect/Job Captain (Corporate Interiors)

Gensler’s Boston office is looking for an interiors Project Architect with 7+ years experience to join our team.  The ideal candidate must have corporate interiors experience. 

Responsibilities:

• Main contact for coordination between teams, consultants and clients
• Responsible for ensuring that production of construction documents are in concert with design intent, within project schedules
• Resolution of complex technical and design issues as they arise
• Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews
• Interface with GCI permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional experience
• Knowledge of corporate interiors is required
• BArch, MArch or foreign equivalent
• Licensure preferred but not required
• Computer skills should include Revit experience, AutoCad, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, team building and relationship management skills
