Park Shore is seeking Nursing professionals.  If you are a Nursing Assistant - Certified (CNA) or an RN and have experience in Assisted Living and/or Skilled Nursing environments, consider us as your employer of choice.  We are seeking nursing professionals for various shifts and schedules.  Build your career with us!

Our Nursing staff must be a registered in Washington state with a minimum of related experience; experience in Assisted Living and/or Health Center preferred.  Must be accurate, detail-oriented, and able to keep thorough records and charts.  Must have knowledge of DSHS Regulations, with great customer service and communication skills in speaking and writing.



SUMMARY:  Working in Assisted Living, is responsible for assisting residents with their activities of daily living.


  • Reads, understands, and follows the resident’s individually designed ADL directives.
  • Makes accurate chart notes daily on residents’ conditions, and charts on flow sheets and reports any changes to supervisor.
  • Assists residents with toileting, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, nail clipping, and dressing.  Also assists in taking their meals and attending activities.
  • Performs duties on a scheduled basis.
  • Stays current with all changes regarding residents and department operations.  Checks schedules and activities to assist residents as necessary.
  • Assists in the admission and discharge of residents as required.
  • Records vital signs and conditions on a scheduled basis or as needed.  Records and reports percents of food eaten as directed.
  • Provides verbal and physical assists to residents in transfers/ambulation.
  • Initiates frequent checks on residents; be observant of emergencies.
  • Answers lights and other calls for assistance promptly and reports any possible safety hazards.
  • Cleans up ‘accidents’ as necessary.  Maintains neat and clean work areas.
  • Assists incontinent residents; provides bed pans, urinals, commodes; empties and cleans immediately; changes resident immediately.
  • Keeps resident rooms in order; provides comfortable, clean, safe environment at all times.  Dresses residents as conditions require.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Equivalent to high school plus additional specialized training.  Must have current CPR/First Aid card.  Minimum of 12 hours per year of continuing education required.  Must be able to work as a member of a team in the Health Center, Assisted Living or Home Care.  Must be able to understand and follow written and spoken direction, and maintain accurate records.  Must be interested in the residents, be pleasant, and responds to calls promptly.  Must communicate well with others, observes confidentiality, and demonstrates a ‘we care’ philosophy.


Blood pressure cuff, thermometer, lifting devices, weight scale, wheelchairs, bathing machine, light housekeeping equipment, cleaning supplies and telephone.


May be exposed to unpleasant conditions and is at risk for exposure to blood, bodily fluid and other potentially infectious material as a part of the routine job function.  May be subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents or family members.  Must be able to assist residents and staff in case of a disaster.
