Premier Physical Therapy & Wellness established in 2000 is a growing private practice with seven locations in New York City, three in Westchester (Hartsdale, Eastchester, Katonah), and two in Connecticut (Norwalk and Darien).  Our Practice is recognized by Tri-State NY-Metro Area physicians as one of the leading physical therapy practices in New York City, Westchester, and Connecticut.  Premier Physical Therapy is a participating member of both the NYU Langone Medical Center Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Network and the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) Rehabilitation Network.
 
Job Description:
 
Located in the Fairfield County town of Norwalk, Connecticut, our physical therapy & sports therapy clinic has an opening for an Assistant Clinic Director to join the Premier management team.  Our Norwalk clinic specializes in orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation in a one-on-one setting.  In addition our physical therapists regularly see patients for balance & vestibular rehabilitation, and neurological & neuromuscular rehabilitation.

As an Assistant Clinic Director you will:
  • Provide excellent management and leadership skills through continuous training and mentorship of clinic staff 
  • Coordinate with management to resolve any staffing and coverage issues
  • Assist human resources with interviewing and hiring clinic staff
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings
  • Participate in marketing projects directed by the Marketing team

Job Requirements:

  • Physical Therapy degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Connecticut PT License or in the process of seeking licensure in the State of Connecticut
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in orthopedics and sports physical therapy
  • Ability to lead and manage a staff of licensed physical therapist
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clinical and administrative staff as well as physicians and insurance companies
