As a result of our continued growth and full slate of projects, we are currently looking for a Senior Project Surveyor for our Geomatics Business Unit based at our office in Calgary, AB.  

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  

There is an immediate opening for an experienced Survey coordinator with a significant background in transportation, construction and topographic surveys. The successful candidate, will be responsible for the day to day management of multiple survey crews, daily client interaction, volume and construction layout calculations, field note and data QC, as well as reporting for progress payments. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  

• A Geomatics Technology diploma from a recognized technical institution
• The ideal candidate is an Alberta Land Surveyor, senior articled pupil or Geomatics Engineer
• 5-10 year’s experience in transportation, engineering, municipal and oil & gas surveys 
• Experience coordinating and managing survey crews
• Proficient with TDS, Trimble or Leica Survey Systems, (Conventional and GPS) and familiarity with calculating packages such as MicroSurvey and\or AutoCad Civil 3D
• Excellent communication, organization, and technical skills.
