Position Description:

This exciting opportunity in our new Saskatoon or Regina office will provide seasoned engineers with a dynamic and supportive environment in which they can advance their career while working on local transportation infrastructure projects as well as internationally recognized high profile projects. Supported by our large group of Bridge Engineers across Canada, you can help to grow a local group of bridge design and construction professionals.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Preliminary and detailed design of bridges and other civil structures;
  • Cost estimation and checking of designs and drawings;
  • Review of shop drawings, specifications and contract document preparation;
  • Structural assessments/inspections and preparation of reports and proposals.



  • Professional Engineer 6+ years of demonstrated experience in the area of structural design and
    bridge engineering with a recognized consulting engineering firm.
  • Seismic designs experience an asset.
  • Superior technical understanding, design abilities and current on bridge technologies.
  • Working knowledge of software used for structural analysis in design such as SAP, SFrame, etc.
  • Specific areas of expertise required are in the planning, preliminary and detailed design, and
    construction of bridges of standard and complex geometry, and culverts. A thorough knowledge of
    current design codes and standards is essential.
  • Experience with design of rehabilitation of existing structures.
  • Experience with SMHI contract documentation an asset.
  • Experience with bridge condition surveys and construction phase structural liaison.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are a necessity.
