Position Description:

We are currently searching for a Junior or Intermediate Bridge Engineer for our Saskatchewan operations in Saskatoon and Regina. You will participate in the delivery of transportation structure projects, including the design of highway, railway, and pedestrian bridges, retaining walls, transit stations, and drainage structures. Duties include inspection, evaluation, analysis, design, cost estimating, tender preparation, shop drawing review, and construction administration. You will also have responsibilities for quality control and assurance.

You will be joining a dynamic transportation group active on a broad range of transportation projects for a variety of public and private sector clients.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in structural engineering from an accredited university
  • Post-graduate degree is an asset
  • Eligible for professional registration with APEGS
  • Strong background in analysis and design of concrete and steel structures is an asset
  • Experience in inspection, assessment, analysis and design of bridges and stations is an asset
  • Experience in local design and construction practices
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Strong organization skills
  • Committed team player
