Project Manager – O & G Consulting

Infusion is currently looking for a Project Manager to manage multiple enterprise projects with outcomes that impact the continued success of the firm. The successful candidate will working closely with Team Leads, Engagement Managers and Account Manager through all phases of the software and services lifecycle. The ideal candidate would have a history in software development with the soft skills and experience to manage projects. We are seeking an individual who possesses a strong passion and enthusiasm for quality project management to increase communication and accountability while mitigating risks and schedule slippage.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Manage enterprise projects by establishing direction, aligning people and resource, and inspiring them to get the job done
• To continuously work on defining and refining the project management model employed by the firm
• Define and refine project management methodologies followed within the firm; improving the processes and driving innovation and modernization of Infusion’s delivery
• Detailed tracking and communication of project progress from a task, time, schedule, and cost perspective
• The maintenance of accurate, correctly modeled, and up to date project plans enabling intelligent decision making by all stakeholders
• Be intimately knowledgeable with the details of contracted deliverables and ensure that all effort expended is aligned with same
• Identifying change orders, generating necessary documentation, and negotiating such change orders with the client
• Identify risks and escalate them to the Account Manager and Engagement Manager
• Un-block project issues by engaging appropriate management and resources where necessary
• Indirectly supervise project teams, leading and delegating

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A proven track record for project planning, executing, controlling and closing
• A strong background in software development or consulting with a high understanding of SDLC
• Excellent written/oral communication skills with an strong ability and high comfort level for direct-to-client communications
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
• Detailed oriented, self-motivated and highly organized with solid problem solving skills
• Diplomatic ability to influence others without having authority to do so
• Ability to mediate disagreements competently and negotiate a win-win resolution for all parties
• PMP designation or working towards it is a plus (Infusion will encourage/support this effort)
