Help Desk Technician

Great opportunity for hands-on tech that can troubleshoot on the fly and who has exceptional customer support interactions. Must have also performed PC refresh and OS migrations. Cloning, Active Directory, ability to replace a motherboard, an interest in Audio/Video support, flexibility in both hardware and software are needed. This is Tier I, II and III work to include some R&D.

  • Attending phone calls
  • Creating & assigning calls in HEAT against each incident reported via Telephone, email & walkin.
  • Checking & replying helpdesk mails
  • Checking HSS Calls & assigning them
  • Logging in Service requests
  • Logging calls with Outside Vendors (HP/IBM)
  • Reserving & Issuing Loaner Laptops, Projectors & cameras
  • Inventory maintenance of Loaner equipments
  • Password reset for Windows, Bi Tech,  Vista session - mainframe , and HR online password
  • Edrain  mainframe printers
  • Resetting  Main Frame Print Queues
  • Solving calls via remote control
  • Follow up for the pending calls status
  • Transferring phone for evenings & weekends
