Position Title: Help Desk Specialist (Entry Level) 

Location: Washington, DC

Clearance Level: USPS Public Trust or equivalent to secret.

This position is contingent upon award of the contract

Overview:

CRGT Inc. is seeking to hire a Helpdesk Specialist (Entry Level) to support our USPS OIGclient. This position is located in Arlington, VA; Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The Entry Level Help Desk Support Tech provides Tier 1 customer support. Will respond to requests for systems assistance via phone or electronically; document, track and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution in according to SLAs. This candidate will diagnose and resolve business process and system issues. The candidate will support the customers and provide resolution or escalate problems not resolved to Tier 2. Prior USPS experience and clearance preferred. If not, equivalent to a secret clearance is desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to questions received by phone calls and e-mails and provide assistance to users in Microsoft Windows OS (XP/Vista/Windows 7), Microsoft Office (for 2003/2007/2010 or 2013), E-mail (Outlook, Lotus Notes etc.), Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat related, Database (basic skills are OK), and Project Management related (Microsoft Project etc.) software.
  • Submit tickets to the trouble tracking system
  • Follow agreed upon SLAs
  • Escalate issues if not resolved

Requirements:

  • Excellent skills of helpdesk
  • Excellent communication and customer service support

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of USPS
