Companion Care Company is the premier provider of non-medical in-home care to individuals with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. Through our assistance, these individuals are able to make their own decisions and choices to guide their own lives while working to achieve their goals and dreams.  While the assistance required for each individual varies, typical services often include assistance with personal health care, assistance with activities of daily living, and prompting for appointments and upcoming activities.

Companion Care Company primarily serves individuals throughout central Indiana and is continuing to expand to additional communities.

We are searching for enthusiastic and compassionate employees to join our team.

Overview of Position:

Assist the organization with various accounting responsibilities and IT.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cash Forecast
  • Payroll Reconciliation
  • Account Reconciliation
  • Hours Period Spreadsheet
  • Reviewing company purchase orders submitted by Admin
  • Turnover report
  • New business report
  • Program Coordinator update report
  • Accrued Payroll
  • Website updates
  • General IT
  • Miscellaneous tasks assigned by management

Requirements/Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Professional
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently as well as collaboratively with teammates
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in balancing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Well organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to give and learn from feedback
  • Approachable and personable
  • Positive attitude
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent understanding of computers/technology – know how they work and know how to troubleshoot if problems

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Some accounting experience preferred
