The Banff Centre is a one-of-a-kind arts institution and conference centre, located on the side of Tunnel Mountain overlooking the Town of Banff. As part of our award-winning hospitality services, the Banff Centre features a number of dining options for guests and participants — fine dining and beautifully appointed banquets; market-style choices for daily dining; casual options for a quick bite, take-away, or pub-style fare; and room service delivered to either guest bedrooms or meeting spaces.
The Kitchen at The Banff Centre is looking for an experienced fine dining First Cook to prepare distinctive dishes in Three Ravens Restaurant & Wine Bar, conveniently located just steps from the Centre's performance, meeting, and accommodation spaces and boasting an incomparable view of the picturesque Bow Valley. Our Three Ravens chefs and cooks are creative and inspired professionals, sharing their passion for great food and presentation perfection. Calm and composed while working in a fast-paced environment, the Three Ravens First Cook works alongside and coaches others in the kitchen to prepare exceptional and memorable food experiences.

Candidates offered a position with the Centre, in this capacity, will be required to obtain a criminal record check through the local R.C.M.P. detachment, verifying a clear record before a final job offer can be made.
Employment Terms & Benefits
In accordance with CUPE 4318, this is a unionized, hourly support staff position, subject to a 500 hour probationary period.
This position pays $17.54 per hour and increases to $19.49 per hour after probation, working up to 40 hours per week.
