As a Software Engineer – Optimization Specialist, you will develop synthesis, placement, and routing algorithms for Altera’s Quartus II CAD system with a specific focus on advanced software features, including parallel programming and partial reconfiguration. These algorithms are some of the most computationally difficult problems in Computer-Aided Design (CAD). Adapting these algorithms to support advanced device features while maintaining excellent result quality and reducing CPU time is a very challenging and rewarding experience.

The successful candidate's minimum qualifications will include the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of C/C++ and strong software engineering skills are required.
