You know ag. You’ve shared your knowledge for years – on the road, back in the office, and out in the fields. Technekes is looking for someone just like you – with several years of ag chem sales or agronomy experience – to work via phone, to cultivate and manage relationships with some of the area’s top retailers and growers. You’ll be working with some of our best customers, consulting with them from the comfort of your own home, serving as an advisor and sharing information about ag products and related marketing incentive programs. We’ll train you to have dynamic and productive conversations so you can quickly and efficiently build your book of business by phone.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to top growers and retailers to share important news about our client’s products, marketing programs and performance results
• Act as our client’s advocate and representative, delivering accurate information, excellent service and managing concerns as appropriate
• Provide support and information to sales reps, to help them grow their business
• Gather feedback to ensure customer retention
• Participate in ongoing training and education in customer service and relevant agricultural systems and chemicals (including occasional visits to our offices in NC)
• Share best practices with our NC office, so we can all improve performance

Credentials

• College degree, preferably in agronomy, agriculture, business or related field
• Minimum three years experience in ag chem sales and/or agronomy (preferably more)

• Self-starter -- motivated, disciplined and organized
• Genuinely interested in providing exceptional customer service
• Able to speak comfortably and knowledgeably about ag, and convincingly about our client’s product line
• Able to work independently, while part of a much larger and supportive team
