SUMMARY: Provides quotation technical support to ensure that the right technical solution is provided for RFQs. Provide order application engineering service including create or modify sample conditioning system designs to fit applications, providing production support on order application requests etc. Support engineering team on product improvement or development.
ESSENTIAL TASKS & DUTIES:
Quotation Application Support: • Review customer application specification and recommend technical solutions • Provide technical clarification for technical solutions

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP: This Job has no supervisory responsibilities.
COMPETENCIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering (Chemical , Electrical or Mechanical preferred), Chemistry, or other related field from four‑year College or university and four or more years of experience in the field; or in lieu of degree, eight or more years’ experience working with process analytical equipment’s and customized sample conditioning systems.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: Proficient using AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create and modify drawings Familiar with IFS or equivalent ERP systems and be able to operate the system following procedures with necessary training Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Other Skills, Abilities, and/or Qualifications: Up to 20% travel may be required for inter-company training or customer visits which will consist of both customer office and site visits.
