OnPoint has an opening for a Desktop Support Technician - Service Desk I to join an IT and Cyber Security Services team to support an upcoming project with the National Nuclear Security Administration. This position will be located in the Washington, DC metro area.

Responsibilities:
• Maintains data files and control procedures for a system of networked computers or for a single group of microcomputers linked to a host workstation, or mainframe. Responsible for system security and data integrity. Assigns passwords and monitors use of resources, backs up files as required, and responds to management requests for information. Works closely supervised and follows specific detailed instructions. Also, supports systems of limited scope and complexity.
• Provide user service desk and technical support services, including user setup and account management.
• Provide call logging and tracking in all task areas from problem receipt to resolution.
 Qualifications/Education:
• One (1) year experience in administrating Windows-based servers. General experience includes operations on large-scale computer systems or multi-server local area networks.
• HP Hardware
• TSCM, TEMPEST and/or HSS
• Secret internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet)
• Secure information and Management Exchange (SIMEX)
• Active Directory
• Account management (RSA, AAA, &Sigma)
• On call services
• CNSS
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
• Understanding and experience with DOE/NNSA IT systems a plus 
• Candidates MUST have an active Q or TS/SCI clearance to be considered
