Description

Since 1986, federal agencies have relied on Macfadden for mission critical support in the areas of international disaster response, development and humanitarian assistance, compliance and monitoring support, information management, and systems engineering and integration.

 

We are currently seeking a strong Business Analyst to join our dynamic and multi-functional team in the DC area. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provides technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules.
  • Coordinates with the Project and/or Program Manager to ensure problem solution and user satisfaction.
  • Make recommendations, if needed, for approval of major systems installations.
  • Prepares milestone status reports and deliveries/presentations on the system concept to colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives.
  • Gather technical requirements and participate in joint requirement sessions

 

Minimum Qualifications and Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or Technical Certificate in related field.
  • Able to formulate system requirements
  • Play key role in supporting the stage gate review process, all documentation requirements
  • Ability to act as Requirements analyst
  • Understanding of either FDA, HHS, NIH or similar
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
