Build Management

Support build/release management. Test builds/releases. Triage CRs and reproduce them for dev engineers. Manage regression setups. Support other teams in setups, correlation of test results (e.g. HW, DVT, and SW teams). Write up test plans. Actively participate in the SW dev/testing cycles. Support the development of best in class wireless connectivity (e.g. WiFi, BT) system software/firmware and radio performance tools -Perform regression test, both automated and manual, of wireless connectivity software builds, uncovering general software flaws and correlating radio performance with known results of golden units, ensuring consistent quality of every release -Conduct the above test with mobile devices or boards of different hardware configuration on supported platforms (e.g. Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android) -Analyze test results and perform 1st pass diagnosis of wireless connectivity systems performance issues -Collaborate with developers to write and maintain the test plans, based on design and implementation specification -Help manage the release content (submission in the software version control repository), support build infrastructure (may involving writing or modifying scripts), and publish release notes

Prefer a computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering degree. But will consider equivalent experience to broaden the candidate pool.

 - Strong problem solving and analytical skills -Willing to learn and can-do attitude -Excellent communication skill -A motivated team player with flexibility to take on defined or not-so-well-defined testing tasks -A collaborating and supportive, yet independently minded, persistent, assertive quality assurance gate keeper -Methodical organization skills in tracking and following up issues -Adequate programming and scripting skills -S/W test experience a definite plus -RF and wireless experience desirable -Comfortable with various RF testing equipment -Wifi/Bluetooth experience a plus but not required -Test/manufacturing equipment exposure a plus, but not required This candidate will be responsible for the quality control of the next generation Wifi/BlueTooth products. The products are expected to be best in class and delivered to market in a timely fashion. Above all, we are looking for an energetic candidate with can-do attitude, curious and willing to learn. Title and experience are not that critical. Were willing to take a new grad if he/she shows potential.

Education:BS or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalently qualified field.
