Gender Based Violence Senior Officer

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Gender Based Violence (GBV) Senior Officer will be responsible for implementing GBV projects and related activities within the Mudug region (both Puntland and Galmudug), including providing support and direct supervision to other staff in the implementation of all project activities. This includes the supervision of clinical care for sexual assault services in Galkacyo South Hospital and oversight of training and other capacity building activities with local partners and other service providers to improve the provision of health and case management services to women and girls. The GBV Senior Officer supervises project staff within its area of responsibility and will ensure program quality meets international standards. The GBV Senior Officer will report to GBV Manager.
