We are currently looking for Housemen for our hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona. The ideal candidate is someone who wants to care for our public space as though they were welcoming a guest to their home. Normally considered a behind-the-scenes contributor the Common Areas Attendant is someone who is out-in-front at this property. Our hotel is alive with color, sights and sounds. This person must possess the energy to match.
This hotel is the first Joie de Vivre property outside of California! Located in Oldtown Scottsdale, the hotel mixes the best of southwest hospitality with cool colorful resort style. With over 190 rooms, meeting space, two pools, a state of the art fitness center and food and beverage outlets coupled with the perfect location.

REQUIREMENTS
Ability to do manual labor eight hours a day; lift, pull, push, carry items of significant weight.
Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.
Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends, holidays, evenings and mornings.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public in a courteous, patient and diplomatic environment.
Experience in a hotel or resort setting preferred with knowledge of common area cleaning practices.
