Job Description
The Client Service Consultant will join an experienced team in the delivery of best-in-class software service support to a portfolio of world class clients. This person will have overall accountability of service delivery to a portfolio of existing clients resulting in industry leading client satisfaction, retention, and growth. The Client Service Consultant will oversee all aspects of client interactions, participate in and often lead engagements involving clients, service, consulting, legal, and sales.


Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of commercial mortgage business best practices to use in coaching our clients to successful utilization of our software and services
  • Assist in the development of additional value the client services area can bring to SS&C and our clients
  • Develop detailed knowledge of client companies – decision makers, influencers, types of business units, invested assets… Leverage this knowledge to strengthen and grow relationships with clients
  • Perform periodic client visits to strengthen relationships, address issues, discuss development pipelines, demo new capabilities
  • Establish and maintain strong and appropriate-level relationships with clients; ensure SS&C senior management has client executive contacts and is helping to manage those relationships
  • Achieve department goals in the areas of client satisfaction and other established performance metrics
  • Serve as the escalation point for client issues
  • Other duties as assigned including the management of internal projects


  • Strong financial/accounting/commercial mortgage background  
  • Aggressive, competitive self-starter
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills - comfortable dealing with executives
  • Passionate focus on client satisfaction
  • Desire to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and fun environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Ability to travel (10%)
