POSITION SUMMARY
The server will provide courteous and rapid service to guests seated at tables in the restaurant, bar and or patio. The server will implement the skills and language programs as provided by the BlueStar Resort & Golf Group

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

Servers report to the Food and Beverage Supervisor and/or Assistant Food and Beverage Manager and the Food and Beverage Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
-
The Server will maintain effective communication with guests and fellow team members. Specific forms of communication include answering questions, making suggestions regarding Food and Beverage Service, writing down orders, requesting identification from customers when legal age is questionable, relaying food orders to the kitchen, relaying beverage orders to the bartender, answering phone properly and articulating a working knowledge of the Club/Course and Food and Beverage Department.

Knowledge / Skills

Servers must demonstrate the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Servers must be able to calculate discounts, interest and percentages

Must possess a Food Handler’s Card.

A Server must have a High School diploma, GED or one to three months of related experience.

Servers must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memorandums. They must have the ability to effectively present information both in one on one, and small group situations with guests and fellow team members.
