Law360 is seeking a reporter to cover developments in the Los Angeles Superior Court, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals for our online daily business newswire. The Los Angeles court reporter will be responsible for retrieving new lawsuits, scanning complaints, keeping track of court events, communicating with editors about which events to attend, and filing 2-3 news stories per day on new lawsuits or court events.
Preferences (one or more would be desirable):
Law360 offers extensive training on legal topics. Business or legal reporting experience is not required. However, professional reporting experience and strong writing and analytical skills are required to succeed in this job. Please note; qualified candidates will be asked to complete writing and reporting tests electronically.
