Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  1. Provides leadership to their staff.  Drives process improvements. 
  2. Trains and develops staff to improve efficiency, guest service levels, and staff capabilities.
  3. Monitors business flow to develop efficient training, break and shift schedules.
  4. Maintains frequent communication with all work areas to ensure efficiency, performance standards and superior guest service.
  5. Consistently demonstrates outstanding guest service skills and assists guests with questions pertaining to recovering variances, handling guest disputes, counterfeit issues, compact violations, and hot carding diamond cards. 
  6. Maintains thorough knowledge of Cage Operations internal functions, controls and software updates and takes the initiative to set up shift meetings and convey pertinent information to employees regarding policy or scheduling changes.
  7. Consistently monitors recruitment needs and interviews prospective employment candidates.  Makes informed selections while making sure Human Resources and Cage Operations Manager are consulted appropriately.
  8. Creates and updates forms/documents used to perform daily functions and generates CTR reports if necessary while logging patron transactions. Accounts for and distributes reports while making accurate inquiries within logbooks for effective communication between shifts.       
  9. Accounts for and verifies all money and inventory at the beginning of a shift and at shift end to provide accuracy for banks (i.e. main, check, general, satellite).
  10. Runs complete credit checks on credit applications received by the VIP Hosts.  Is thorough and accurate when verifying, processing and maintaining guest account information, credit files, reports, check-cashing and approvals for new or changed accounts. 
  11. Manages front line transactions ensuring the accuracy of payouts.
  12. Reviews payroll reports for accurate work hour totals and makes adjustments when needed.
  13. Regularly monitors the inventory of all Cage supplies and orders supplies when needed.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

               

  1. Bachelor’s degree required.
  2. Minimum of 5 years Cage supervisory experience required.  Strong understanding of all Cage processes required.
  3. Very strong leadership skills.  Proven effectiveness at working directly with senior organizational leadership as well as front-line staff.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  5. Must possess computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and gaming systems.
  6. Must possess outstanding guest service skills and great interpersonal skills.
  7. Previous money handling experience with basic math skills required.
  8. Ability to organize/prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  9. Ability to make decisions in a stressful environment and accommodate a flexible work schedule.    
  10. Ability to effectively motivate, manage and develop a large staff.
