Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  1. Effectively supervises all Bartenders, Beverage Porters and Beverage Servers.
  2. Takes responsibility for ensuring employees are trained/developed in F&B Operations and monitors business flow to develop efficient training, break and shift schedules.
  3. Ensures the Beverage staff receives sales slip reports in a timely manner and trains all Beverage staff in the process of declaring tips.
  4. Consistently demonstrates the initiative to assist all Beverage staff when required by business needs.
  5. Regularly completes and signs for all stock requisitions and continually monitors inventory costs against Beverage budget.
  6. Maintains working knowledge of F&B Operation’s internal functions, controls and software updates and takes the initiative to convey pertinent information to employees regarding policy changes.
  7. Ensures efficiency and accurate performance standards are met by maintaining communication with all work areas to verify paperwork and inventory controls.
  8. Consistently demonstrates outstanding guest service skills and always identifies repeat guests.
  9. Consistently maintains professional rapport and confidentiality in communicating with other departments as required by procedure (i.e. MIS, Gaming Commission, Security, Credit, Surveillance, Games Dept., Nation Police, Payroll, HR and Marketing).
  10. Demonstrates an understanding of PAF and administrative procedures; accurately tracks and records LOAs, vacation time, Eos, call-outs and special requests.
  11. Is always available to assist F&B employees at designated outlet locations as needed.
  12. Consistently monitors recruitment needs and interviews prospective employment candidates.  Makes informed selections while making sure Human Resources and the Beverage Manager are consulted appropriately.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  1. High School diploma or GED equivalent required.  College degree or some level of secondary education preferred.
  2. Previous F&B and supervisory experience required.
  3. Above average verbal and written communication skills required.
  4. Must possess computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  5. Must possess outstanding guest service skills.
  6. Previous money handling experience with basic math skills required.
  7. Ability to organize/prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously. 

Ability to make decisions in a stressful environment and accommodate a flexible work schedule.
