Purpose:

  • The incumbent directly generates revenue by selling products and services to new and current users within an assigned territory through direct, face-to-face contact.  The NAS Consultant position typically requires high levels of travel and assists management into devising sales plans and strategies.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Sells products/services to new and/or current customers in an assigned geographic area to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives:

  • Contacts and visits prospective customers to determine product/services needs and performs sales presentations to match company’s products with identified needs.
  • Sells products through face-to-face contact.
  • Remains knowledgeable of MS/B’s products to facilitate sales efforts.
  • Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required.

Provides follow-up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with products and/or services provided.

May assist sales and sales support representatives as needed.

Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.

Education & Work Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent training in business or sales management or
  • A minimum three years in business or sales management.
  • *Bilingual English/French required for the Canada based position

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of MS/B’s products and software pricing practices.  Excellent selling skills.
  • Effective communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and presentation required.
  • PCs and various software applications.
  • Heavy telephone usage.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • General office environment.
  • Extensive Travel Required.
