The Video team builds several cutting-edge video and game products for Android, iOS and Smart TVs. We need a senior project manager who’s comfortable working directly with core engineering teams in an agile manor.  In this role you’ll have an opportunity to work with people solving really hard problems as well as some of the largest broadcast and advertising companies.  This is a commercial product opportunity expected to last more than a year.

The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills with a passion for building fantastic digital media products. The individual must possess strong project leadership experience building commercial SDKs and cloud services for global B2B customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Together with engineering directors and leads, create product development plans.
  • Ensure dedicated and cross-functional teams are sequenced and delivering.
  • Lead development check-in scum style.
  • Create and track partners’ development plans to insure they sequenced well.
  • Work with Product Management and Professional Services to adapt features, schedules, and teams as need.
  • Provide overall status.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors or equivalent experience.
  • Successfully delivered multiple commercial software products for at least 5 years.
  • Managed teams building SDKs, cloud services, and/or rich content management platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead and succeed with engineering-driven cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated project leadership skills in managing priorities, delegating, and influencing.
  • Able to understand and articulate product features, use cases, and sequence work.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, including persuasion and negotiation
