We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager-Central based out of Houston, TX –The Regional Sales Manager will travel frequently throughout his/her region and must be based within the sales territory (Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas)- This position is immediately available! JOB SUMMARY Responsible for meeting and exceeding all designated New Business objectives and programs within assigned territory. Seeks out new market opportunities, maintains awareness, and deals effectively with competitive market conditions that influence sales. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieves maximum sales results in the most efficient manner. Exceeds all New Business targets assigned. Implements effective market penetration and leadership. Maintains a high level of product knowledge including features, functions, and benefits in all product groups to assist in the solicitation of orders, sales meetings, and service oriented functions.
Organizes a time and territorial management system to prioritize objectives and insure a high level of service to the Manufacturer's Representatives, Distributors, and End Users. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains tracking records for each Manufacturer's Representative with respect to overall sales activity. Organizes semi-annual meetings to evaluate the Reps performance and provides direction. Maintains and exercises expense control, plans combined trips whenever possible and uses good judgment with hotels, meals, and entertainment in accordance with prescribed guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned.

| Position Requirements: | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Education and/or Experience): 4 year Business or Technical related Degree. Minimum of five years sales experience. Track record of heavy travel (50-80%). Management experience with manufacturer’s representatives or direct reports. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Technical background is helpful. Computer literate including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SF.COM or other CRM program. |
