Job Overview:
Primarily responsible for: The Operations Manager 1 will manage the Operations Group at the District level. Management duties include, but are not limited to, enforcing NALCO Champion’s safety procedures, governmental regulatory compliance, supply chain and inventory oversight in regard to transporting and handling hazardous materials.
Territory/Location Information: This position is based in Vernal, UT
Main Responsibilities:

Coordinates and schedules deliveries of product to customer locations

Maintains inventory, cycle counts, ordering of material and trouble-shooting deficiencies

Interviews, hires and trains new Driver/Chemical Operators

Maintains preventative maintenance of district equipment and scheduling

Oversees district field blending activities

Handles general paperwork regarding P-Card and invoice receipts, budgets, and inventory comparisons
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
4+ Years relevant work experience
Detailed knowledge of DOT regulations (Hazardous and Non-Hazardous)
Trucking Experience and/or equipment operating experience
Routing and Logistic experience
Willingness to work extended hours with some travel
Knowledge of pressure treating and deliveries
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
Able to navigate web-based commercial support media for DOT record keeping
