Chief Financial Officer

The CFO will play a critical role in setting the strategic direction, development and future growth of our Cincinnati office.  This individual will lead the client finance function to support contract negotiations and business development efforts.  Main responsibilities include overseeing quarterly forecasts and reporting, financial modeling, performance/KPI analysis, cash flow management, and risk management/compliance for the location.  This individual will partner with the President to implement the strategic and financial plan and drive alignment of all organizational activities to achieve the plan’s targets.  The CFO reports to the President and the Regional CFO.

Responsibilities:

Drive strategic financial vision, provide strategic leadership on all financial affairs 

Create, build and maintain a financial plan which ties together all important financial criteria and strategic objectives, as well as budgets and operating plans

Evaluate client contracts.  Represent the company in financial negotiations as required, to include negotiation with procurement on larger engagements

Organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's performance

Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and financial trends

Oversee the integrity and security of financial systems and processes; the proper and responsible handling of all funds, and compliance with legal, regulatory and organizational financial and contract reporting requirements, including full scope SOX compliance

Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, quarterly reforecasts, financial reports and financial trends

Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures and financial systems of the organization to maintain the overall operation and effectiveness of the finance and operation groups

Improve the budgeting process through educating accounts on financial issues impacting their budgets

Arrange and prepare for financial, SOX and client audits as well as any other requested or required financial reviews

Evaluate the finance and operations department structure and team; plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the department as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities of individuals

Required Skills:

15+ years of strategic, operating and financial management experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.  MBA/CPA preferred

Operationally oriented, strategic thinker who has worked closely with operations to understand the key levers and can influence appropriate change for real impact

Strong leadership kills, ability to motivate teams at all levels to produce results within tight timeframes

Effective team oriented management style

Experience leading an Operations team that includes Finance, HR, Staffing, and Facilities

Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills 

Unconditional integrity and commitment to financial accuracy
