The School of Nursing, founded in 1943 and accredited by the CCNE, offers traditional and non-traditional undergraduate and graduate programs to over 1,200 students in a supportive and creative environment. Graduate programs in Nursing Administration, Emergency Nursing/Disaster Management, Adult Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Education/Staff Development, and a combined MS/MBA program are offered both on and off campus. The PhD program in nursing offers two concentrations: Education and Healthcare Outcomes.
As a member of the faculty, appointees will be expected to contribute to the teaching, service and scholarship of the School. Successful applicants will be doctorally prepared in nursing with a Medical/Surgical specialty and will be eligible for licensure in NYS. Preference will be given to nurse practitioners.
Faculty members may be asked to teach across levels.
